I am greatly appreciative of the care i've received at Village Support over the two years. I've made some major and needed changes in my life as a result of the work I did. I did some IFS work, which was so impactful to my healing journey. I have been in therapy at different times over my life with many different therapist and experienced different approaches but IFS is a game changer. I also love how flexible they were with allowing in-person but I could also do video sessions when I couldn't make it to the office.
I was in search of a Black therapist in Minnesota that accepted insurance. It was so hard to find one. I learned of this practice through a friend receiving services from them. So glad I found them. I was able to do some amazing work. One thing I appreciate it the customer service and communication. After submitting my intake, someone got back to me to get me started right away. Also, monthly they kept me updated on my insurance status. I also love their mission.

When I connected with them I was able to start sessions within 2 weeks, which was a quick turn around.

I was later told by the owner, Ebony, that the therapist who ghosted me, Lorine Williams, was confused and she assumed I wouldn’t show up for my session due to my previous mental health issues. That is disheartening and disappointing to hear as a patient and someone having a difficult time navigating life.
