I've had a great experience with Village Support thus far. I had been searching for a Black therapist for my daughter and myself and us together. We were both able to connect with our own therapist through this practice, which has been great. Eventually we intend to have joint sessions with one of both of our therapist. When I connected with them I was able to start sessions within 2 weeks, which was a quick turn around.

I was ghosted by a therapist here who I had seen previously. I was later told by the owner, Ebony, that the therapist who ghosted me, Lorine Williams, was confused and she assumed I wouldn’t show up for my session due to my previous mental health issues. That is disheartening and disappointing to hear as a patient and someone having a difficult time navigating life.

I am greatly appreciative of the care i've received at Village Support over the two years. I've made some major and needed changes in my life as a result of the work I did. I worked with the owner, Ebony, and did some IFS work, which was so impactful to my healing journey. I had an appointment with Lorine Williams and she ghosted me. I emailed the office and texted the number I was given to communicate with my therapist and no one replied. This is the second mental health clinic here in Minnesota that has given me poor service. I’m starting to think fighting for my mental health isn’t worth it anymore.
