I drove for hours to visit this 1 of 1 store, and if you need vintage hardware restored, this is your place. Our family desperately needed our vintage mortise locks restored due to the safety risk it was posing to our special needs child, and a heartfelt gratitude goes out to these people. The staff are wonderful, including Debbie S. at the front-of-house. At back-of-house, Eben was a miracle worker. Village Salvage is the go to place for antique locks and hardware, you won’t find a better place. We purchased a refurbished corbin mortise lock and needed to change the orientation of the latch. Evan was able to seamlessly walk me through the modification by sending pictures and giving a step by step, I haven’t gotten that kind of customer service in a long time!
