Village Runner is the top place to get running shoes in the South Bay. It's geared toward more serious runners, but they have a lot of stuff for the casual runner too and a staff that really knows the merchandise. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Skip the big box sporting goods stores and go here Village Runner is the place to buy running shoes and equipment. As the name suggests, they have a singular focus -- running. The staff is friendly, helpful, and most important, incredibly knowledgeable about the shoe selection. They should know, they're all avid runners themselves.
