Village Pizza Restaurant was established in 1984 and has become an East Bay favorite for family-style dining. We proudly serve some of the best food around which originates from traditional old-Italy recipes of the founders’ mother-in-law, Rose DiPietro. Great salads and pizza! Could be like a Chucky Cheese sometimes with screaming kids. Rude men seated at the tables wearing hoodies, caps and parkas. What happened to respect for other diners?
Had an order of the Greek Pizza (~$30): feta, pesto, sun-dried tomato, and artichoke hearts. Also had an order of the Dinner Salad (~$5): lettuce, tomato, beans, carrots, and croutons. Food was delicious, staff was chill, and the ambiance was familiar.
Village Pizza is a solid choice for a family night out. This restaurant is a diamond in the rough. Although few know about it, the pizza here is much better than places such as Round Table and Mountain Mikes. Village Pizza has a wide variety of pizzas, but also steaks, burgers, pastas and more. Make sure to check out the appetizer menu for some tasty treats. The service is at times pretty slow, but the waiters/waitresses are very friendly.
I love their alfredo pasta dish--fab! Extensive menu for such a small, quaint venue, and their pizzas are wonderful, I order several varieties when I have gatherings at home. You can tell the pizzas are home-made and substantial. Family owned, personal service.
Just OK – The pizza here is ok, but the price is OUTRAGEOUS. I went in to get 1 slice and it was $5.95 for one slice of cheese pizza. The place is really small so I could imagine a long wait, if it were busy.
Village Pizza has a 4.3 star rating with 5 reviews.
Village Pizza is closed now. It will open tomorrow at 11:00 a.m.
