The Village Pie Maker pies (formerly made in Eustis, Nebraska) are the best frozen pies I've ever tasted. I have a friend who says she is a pie "snob" and says she can't taste that they use a frozen crust. I don't have a sensitive palette anymore, but I can't taste the difference between homemade and Village Pie Maker pies. I have only tried their pies that you bake at home. I highly recommend them.
The filling was pretty tasty but missing a little more spice and apples. The crust was Greasy with a slight after taste ,that left a layer Of grease In my mouth . Also had a slight metal taste! Way over priced at $13 at store..
