I went in for my 2 year eye exam with Dr Dillon. She is friendly, professional and truly cares if there are issues. She ordered a pair of gas permiable(hard lens) for me. When I tried wearing them, I could tell the vision was off and the contacts were comfortable. She had me come in to examine, took video of how the lens fit in my eye and sent this to the makers. Everyone on the Village Optical team goes above and beyond for my specialized eye care needs. I see Dr. van Dijk for my scleral lenses, and Dr. Dillon for my dry eye, and they are both so knowledgeable and kind. Ocular hygienist Coralie is always a great help and makes sure I’m set up with my dry eye & scleral products, which I’m so grateful Village Optical carries. Ella, Lilly & many others in eyeglasses services have assisted me, including with custom FL-41 glasses. I’m so thankful for this office and highly recommend!
My mom's first visit and we were late. Dr. Dillon was still able to see her, take a complete eye history, and make adjustments to improve the vision and also made a referral for CNIB for other supports. Mom's frames were reused and new lens ordered through the shop. The staff helping through the process were knowledgeable and kind making a positive experience all around.
We’ve used Village Optical in Osborne and on Dakota for years. Dr. Erin Loewen takes good care of our 88 year old father, and they have a great variety of fashionable frames. I wish I could afford the Tom Ford!
