Beautiful, bright, warm Seniors Residence. You feel like you are waking into a home rather than an institution. All of the staff are genuinely kind, caring and compassionate. The nurses are wonderful. Meals look homemade with a nice presentation. Snacks, coffee, tea are readily available. The building is clean and quiet. Bright sitting rooms overlooking the backyard. My Dad moved in and immediately loved it. He especially loved the pub nights. Linda is remarkable and so easy to talk to about any concerns. The nursing staff is genuine, Knowledgable and kept us in the loop where needed. The PSW’s. Were fantastic, but my dad did have his favourites. The kitchen staff were super friendly and accommodating to my dad who took quite a long time to eat his meals. We would highly recommend village on the Thames for a loved one.
We placed our dad here after a bad experience at The Oaks in Wallaceburg. They couldn't have been more inviting and caring. Their logo says "We our residents" and they really do. They looked after my dad over and above what I expected. From the day we walked in and had a sign greeting dad as a new member of the family, to the day we had to clean out his room after he passed! I would recommend Chatham Village on the Thames whole heartedly
Wouldn’t let my worse enemy stay at this place. Do not recommend.
