Do not use. Dr. Pleeter is not a doctor you would want during pregnancy or for birth. He is dismissive and does not have time for questions. This is a doctor who "does his own thing" and does not respect the pregnant woman's experience. During birth, he did not explain any of his decisions. My wishes were irrelevant and my comprehension of what was going on was not even an afterthought. The risks of procedure were never explained and I was not given any choices. Stay far away from this man. He doesn’t listen, assessments and office visits are extremely rushed. His notes and documentation are terrible, his bedside manner is awful. He doesn’t follow best practices or remember who his patients are. He wasn’t even present for most of my birth and then rushed to tug my placenta out as quickly as possible then leave again.
