Literally, one of the 2 best meals I've ever eaten in San Clemente. So sad we didn't try it sooner as my neighbor has been raving about Village Mediterranean for a while! The lamb Oso Bucco was better than FABULOUS!! Hubby had the Sea Bass with Crab pesto, Pear salad and Panna Cotta....also excellent. The biggest problem for me was choosing among the many delicious sounding entrees!! Guess I'll have to go back soon to try them!!!!! But seriously, skip the chains from Laguna and try this place You won't be disappointed.
Why 5 stars? First this is a sweetheart of family run restaurants and while small and quaint, has great value, super food and a great selection from start to finish. Absolutely nothing to complain about.
My GO TO restaurant in SC. Wonderful aroma & ambiance makes you feel like you are a gem in Italy or France when you enter. All dishes are delicious and service is exceptional! Chef-Owner’s attention to detail shines thru in all aspects!
Great place - delicious food, good wine, beautiful ambience and fantastic customer service. We would definitely go there again.
