Beautiful and very nice staff
Employment brings us to Ruidoso on occasion. We've been looking for our 'home away from home'. I'm happy to report we've found it with Village Lodge. Super convenient to work and shopping. Love the kitchenette amenity. One star missing for the undiagnosed stove burner not working. Mgmt was grateful to be informed. All staff is friendly and welcoming. They even came after hours to let us in when we accidentally locked ourselves out. Beautiful landscaping. Good energy on the property. Thanks for a great wonderful first stay.

I would not recommend. Please be warned, the pictures are not what you should expect. It is very outdated, youre responsible for washing dishes so I wasn't convinced the previous guests cleaned throughly so I washed them myself. The bathtub drain was clogged and flooded when I showered, there's no built in heater do they provide space heaters. The floors and couches were not cleaned and had hair. The stove top did not work at all and for some reason the breaker tripped (maybe the heaters). We ended up staying one night but w... read more
