A couple months ago my store helped out village cleaners when their dry cleaning machine was down. As another local dry cleaners, we did not charge them for the work should the same thing happen to us in the future. Well our time has come to have the favor returned and all I can say is how disgusted I am at the owners response. Came in for a super simple bridesmaid dress strap alteration. The seamstress decided to put in loops to hang the dress and apparently sewed right through several layers of fabric so that the side of the dress was ATTACHED to the front from the inside! Didn't notice when I picked it up since it was already pressed and hanging in plastic. Luckily the bride had a sewing kit on hand and we were able to cut through all of the stitching she had done and salvage it in time for the wedding. Very Pricey $24 for a kids 2 piece suit. I will not return. Also, the staff needs to fake a smile.
