Bad experience got accepted 2019 when I moved to Janesville Had section 8, but got a better apartment bigger cheaper but reapplying in 2024. They do take section 8 as far as with me. You will be neglected with unacceptable living conditions. I found that the air conditioner in my unit was contaminated with mold. This was not a minor issue—there was visible growth inside the system, and it was blowing directly into my living space. I reported this problem repeatedly, making it clear that this was a health and safety concern. Despite that, management showed little care or concern. Very difficult to get a new lock on my apartment door. For two years I have requested new locks as someone is coming in my apartment. They ask me to pay $80.00 for a new lock. Im a renter. I finally have proof of the items that are being stolen. Brand new items w documentation. Plus, we did have security lock buildings when I moved here. They are gone also. I've been here five years. I'm just shocked the manager doesn't take this issue seriously. I'm a 70yr old tenant. Safety is priority for my home.
