If you're a drug dealer or section 8 this is the place for you. Battled drug dealers for years. Out of state - no problem they do not always do background checks. Walls and ceilings chock full of mold. Boilers are outdated and hot water may not be available for several days in a row. Get some space heaters, the heat is not sufficient. Great value. Nicely sized rooms for the price-point. Apartments are nice and clean, ours even had the flooring replaced prior to us moving in. Units are reasonably sound-proof as we rarely hear anything from neighboring units.
Bad experience got accepted 2019 when I moved to Janesville Had section 8, but got a better apartment bigger cheaper but reapplying in 2024. They do take section 8 as far as with me. I filled out an application didn’t get a chance to turn it in any office. They had three I believe real estate agents I tried handling it to the person I received it from and one of the office employees didn’t give me a chance to say nothing or explain my situation, but she yelled out and says you have to have three times the income. UNPROFESSIONAL OFFICE STAFF! THEY WILL NOT WORK WITH YOU. I bought a house and needed someone to take over the remainder of my lease which was only a few months and I WENT OUT OF MY WAY to find plenty of people on Facebook to take over and have filled out applications. I've kept them updated on people that have applied and told me I'm there last priority as they have 35 other units that need to be rented out.
