Ohh my I couldn’t believe what I read on one of the reviews. Well you get rid of me in only being on the job for 3 days. But you keep staff on that neglect and mistreat the residents. Village glen get your act together look at the staff you are hiring or hired. There young some of them and do not comply with the no lift policy that’s in place. Be warned about this branch of the Village Glen as staff abuse the residents by speaking and treating them like they are garbage. Calling a resident names is a common thing especially if they are not liked by the nursing team. Staff say awful things about the residents they don't like to their face, loud enough so they can hear or behind their backs. They have their favourites that they give extra time for but anyone else can just wait until they finally have to help or see them especially if they are not liked. They neglect... read more
My Mother had a Respite spell here recently and we cannot recommend it highly enough....Administration, Reception, Nursing team, Carers, Lifestyle were all extremely friendly, helpful and reassuring. Special shout out to Annie in Lifestyle. Many thanks to all!!
