Took my truck in for a bad misfire,amongst other things, they found that the motor had failed and it was replaced by warranty only took a month and a half, but that was just waiting for parts. And thats waaaay faster than any other dealships. Shout out to Marissa who kept me updated the whole time.
The staff here is cool. They put me in a rental for my recall on the gas tank and everything was great until I got the car back. My exhaust went from a quiet ford to sounding like a tuner honda. Don’t know if they forgot a gasket when they put the exhaust back together or didn’t tighten the bolts at the flange but it is super noticeable. Not going to bring it back to have it fixed by them in fear that it will come back with more issues. Not surprised at all. Village Ford taught me a very expensive lesson about what dealerships call “book time.” For anyone unfamiliar, book time is the standardized amount of labor time assigned to a repair. It averages out highly skilled mechanics with less experienced ones. That concept makes sense to me. If a veteran tech can do a repair faster than average, good for them. Very unprofessional ford service. Wish i could give negative stars. They schedule you to get your car looked at and then call u the day before and say its a 10 day thing before they can look at it. Will never bring one of my ford cars here again this place can stick it. Will also be reaching out to thier regional manager about this sorry excuse of a ford service shop.
