I joined Village Fitness over two and a half years ago and at the time it was an incredible gym. I have tried to be patient with the changes that have happened since then. The gym is now roughly a third of the size it once was and the membership cost has nearly doubled. I accepted that at first, but many of the promised amenities are still not available. Great gym! Zeke is a great manager and a wealth of knowledge concerning fitness.
So happy to have my gym back after the remodel. Even though the space is a bit smaller, they more than make up for it with the new equipment. They’ve brought in pieces you don’t find at other gyms, which makes training here feel intentional and elevated. It’s always clean, well-maintained, and the amenities are truly top tier. You can tell a lot of thought went into the redesign.
First impression. The new gym is very dark and gloomy. Black equipment, black floors, black ceiling. not very welcoming. The girl at the front desk was disinterested and playing with her cell phone. No locker rooms.! You have to change in the bathroom....then carry you street clothes and gym bag through the gym to put in a tiny metal locker. A really dumb design! I.m guessing this owner doesn.t have much experience designing a health club....but I wish him luck...he,ll need it.
First and foremost, the Aloha Spirit is alive and well at the NEW Village Fitness 2.0! It never left, it just got STRONGER! Second, the brand new machines🤩: the Arsenal Strength Pendulum Squat machine, the Reloaded Belt Squat, various Booty Builder machines, all the ab machines, the new Matrix Onyx Treadmills with 32" high-definition 4K LCD touchscreen, need I say more?
