Formerly of Huntington Village and established in 1948, Village Fireplace is the oldest and one of the largest fireplace shops on Long Island. The current owner, Kevin Tagariello, has many years of knowledge and experience working with fireplaces and barbecues. Went to Village Fireplace and purchased a peterson gas log set for my existing fireplace. Kevin the owner was very knowledgable about the products. Along with his technician Matt the set up and customer service was excellent and am happy with my new addition to my fireplace! I did have some trouble with my remote start but they did come back and fixed the problem. I have been a customer for over 25 years but am now very dissatisfied with their service.I purchased a large gas log set which was in stalled by them. However, the remotes are fragile and finicky. I had much trouble trying to get them to return my calls for annual routine cleaning and to repair the year old remote. Weeks went by with numerous calls on my part and no replies. We were looking to buy a gas fireplace and our contractor sent us to Village Fireplace. They had many different fireplaces to look at and we were given a great deal of information. We purchased a Heat & Glo direct vent gas fireplace and are very satisfied.
Great shop, very knowledgeable. I wanted a gas fireplace but new nothing about them. These people explained everything about them in great detail, showed me all the differences. Now I'm ready to go back and buy.
Tremedous selection of BBQs! I didnt know where to begin! The person who assisted me knew the models inside and out and helped me choose the grill that best fit my needs and budget. I was consulted not sold which was very nice.
