The two guys took great care of my family today during a surrey rental after a horrible experience at Cape Island Rentals. I have two small children and two handicapped parents and they were patient and kind to us. If you are looking for great family friendly service, Village Bike Shop is the place to go.
We rented bikes from Village Bikes. We liked their selection better than other shops in town that only carry the clunky beach cruisers. Prices were reasonable and they set us up in just a few minutes. Cash only but that was fine for us.
After 30 years of renting bike in CM I cannot recommend Village Bikes more. A “real” bike shop with knowledge staff and way more bike choices. I once digressed and got a beach cruiser from another shop in all those years and rode out to the lighthouse. I cried 1/2 way back, as the wind picked up and recall saying that I’d rather give birth than ride this pile of metal back to my inn. I walked the rest of the way. Bake to Village bikes I went. I learned my lesson. I’ll stick to my hybrid bicycle thank you ☺️ I VBS!
