Village Bagel is such a great local spot! We stopped in for breakfast and had a fresh bagel sandwich with a perfectly toasted everything bagel with honey rosemary cream cheese. Everything tasted fresh and was prepared with care. The atmosphere is casual, welcoming, and perfect for a quick breakfast or relaxed lunch. Maybe I’m jaded coming from Austin, but not a single member in our family enjoyed the food here. It was mediocre at best. The eggs tasted like cardboard. The bagel was just okay. The music was painfully loud with cursing in it, which felt very inappropriate since we had young kids there.

Accommodated DF egg and bacon bagel sando, no prob. My pastrami/egg/cheese was great (esp the pastrami) and I always like their rugelesh too

I think this is kind of a special place, you dont often find City quality food like this in small mountain towns. Its also a hidden gem i think, might not even show as “restaurants” on google maps? And yet this is almost certainly the best breakfast you can get driving through the mountains on I70. Well worth it to skip everywhere if heading up to mountains from Denver and just do this always imo
