It's a lovely little place in such a fantastic spot on the strip. Rooms have had reno updates. 2 lovely pools. We had a 2b2b apartment for 2adults & 2children. The layout is great and it felt so spacious for an apartment. Angie was so lovely and accommodating. I loved the European feel to it ! It was the best value for the location and we would definitely stay there again.
Villa San Michele is the perfect place to stay for a family visiting Port Douglas! It is right on Main Street, which you would think is loud and busy, but it’s not. Businesses close around 4pm and restaurants stay open until around 9pm. The rooms toward the back so they perfectly quiet until the morning when the cockatoos start squawking -but that is the case everywhere. And, even that is not bad. We enjoyed our stay at Villa San Michele. The best aspect about our stay was dealing with the wonderful Angie!!! She was fantastic to deal with. We knew we were in highly capable hands from the moment we booked our accommodation months ahead of our stay. While we mainly dealt with Angie, we also met the wonderful Manger, Sara. Alana was also very helpful and Yerko was terrific! This place seems to know how to find good staff and keep them happy. Top marks for an awesome stay! Loved our beautiful rooms, with privacy for each guest, clean, roomy, the best air conditioning! Two pools, free parking, hop skip and jump to everything you would want: restaurants, shops, Coles, beach, the best ice creams ever, and bakeries. The ambience and atmosphere is as lovely as all the photos, even better actually. Very very happy and will definitely be staying here again in the future. Thank you soooo much 11/10.
