RecommendedMy Mom moved into Villa Ocotillo assisted living in 2014. She later moved to the memory care unit in 2018. I cannot say enough about the caring staff at this facility. Mom made her wishes clear, she wanted to stay where she was at rather than be in the same city as family. Of course this made it challenging for us however the VO staff communicated often and would answer any questions we had. On the morning of May 15th I was informed of the death of my great uncle, Darwin Thompson. He lost his life to COVID-19 at the hands of Villa Ocotillo Assisted Living facility in Scottsdale Arizona. This awful place refused to test Darwin for Coronavirus even as he was begging to be tested on the last days of his life.
