Amazing Food/Location – Villa Nova has outstanding service, amazing food and a romantic view; if you sit by the window that is! I would definitely recommend Villa Nova to friends and family. A must try is the Mozzarella, and Calamari-I'm not a seafood lover but this was delicious.... Nice Location – Food was good, but felt pretty heavy. Got extreme food coma after. But the price was actually much better than expected. I expected extremely expensive dishes (which they had) since it is a nice restaurant on the water. But to my pleasant surprise, there were also very decently priced dishes. Our server was also very friendly. Great view to go with the heavy food. It makes you want to fall asleep there right after you're done eating.

13th Wedding Annv. Wonderful Absolutely beautiful, wonderful food, great friendly service. Just got having dinner at Villa Nova, and celebrating our 13th year wedding anniversary. Everyone was friendly and the food was amazing and the view was spectacular. Definitely returning for other celebrations.

Relaxing spot Score a waterfront view with delicious food and great wine selection. It's dark and intimate and the waitstaff is very friendly and knowledgable. Plus they serve late!

Negative. I know this restaurant gets lots of props because of the location and the decor but I give it a 2 star because of the service. I came here three years ago with one of my college friends and we were treated so rudely. I will never go back but I do hope they've improved their manners. I was astonished to see the waiters so unfriendly and snooty. I did report my views to the management on my way out and I hope they took my advice. Try it at your own risk.

This restaurant made famous by the star power that has graced its dining room is now slowly fading from the sky. It has almost everything it needs to be a top location. It has a great location in Newport Beach, an interior that is dark and romantic, an excellent view of the harbor, and a piano bar. So why is it fading? Great food, bad service This restaurant is one of my family's favorite for the last 3 generations. The food is wonderful and the view of the Harbor is breathtaking. My only complaint is that for the last 2 or 3 years the service has suffered major setbacks - bad order timing, lack of checking back, seems flustered or stressed, etc. If you can get past some service failures, definitely go and enjoy the food and view.

This is an absolutely beautiful Italian restaurant/ lounge right on the water in Newport Beach with a beautiful view. They have an extensive wine selection and delicious food on the menu, and live Jazz in the piano bar lounge area. The service is always good and there is always a hip relaxed vibe here. This is the perfect place to come on a date, or with family for a special evening. Highly recommended!
