Some Villa Marie staff were kind and caring, but our experience left me concerned about training, consistency, communication and accountability. Mom had dementia and was legally blind, but for most of her time there she could communicate her needs and converse. She was particularly frightened of being alone or becoming lost. DO NOT PUT YOUR LOVED ONES IN THIS PLACE!!! My grandmother is currently staying here, they dont take good care of the people staying there. Stuff goes missing from her from and they just say you can't prove our staff stole it etc. The dont change her clothes for days at a time. They have gone through 4 managers in one year what does that tell you.
Poor management, lack of proper care for alzheimers patients, no interaction with family at all. Make sure you do the patients laundry or clothing will be used for others. My mothers jewelry was all gone when she passed. Really upset i put her in this place.
For the sake of the residents and staff, the facility desperately needs new management. AUPE doesn’t seem to care about their members either when it comes to specific issues involving staff.
This place desperately needs management overhaul. I pray for better conditions for the clients. Staff on ground are amazing and trying their best.
