I bought a condo at VDM September 5, 2021. The building problems are over and the seawall is installed. We have a 25 unit gated community on 2 waterfront acres owned by the 25 owners. Thus, HOA dues are high. For me the living situation is ideal having come from a gulf front condo half the size. I have a large 2-car garage and large storage room in addition to 2350 sq. ft. in the unit. The condos are relatively well priced and the views are spectacular. First off the bat, the initial construction was so mismanaged I can not even make it up. Then The maintenance was horrid. Then The places started leaking heavily and became an eyesore to say the least. The HOA of this place is run by a close-knit group of small power tyrants who are straight up mean to kids, dogs, and people in general. I'm talking to you grey bushel hair looking woman.
