R.L Knowles Veterans Unit is the best care home in the area. They took care of my dear Mother during her last couple of years on earth. The staff became like family members to my Mother and I. Even with my Mother’s limited mobility and being mostly non-verbal, I often saw her give the staff loving smiles and on occasion she was able to verbalize a ‘thank you’ or - ‘I love you’ in return to their loving words and care.
