Our bathroom was stuck in the 90s with those almond fixtures and a leaky shower. First time they came by they took all the measurements and actually explained what could stay and what needed to go, which helped since we were nervous about the cost. The tile work is where they really shined. The shower niche lines up perfect and the floor is level all the way across! Got our main bathroom redone and it looks so much better now. Old one had cracked tile and a tub nobody used. They swapped in a walk in shower and new vanity and the whole space feels bigger. Work was clean and they stuck to the timeline they gave us. One of the better contractors in Des Plaines from what we found

After getting a couple of quotes from people advertising on a Park Ridge homeowners group, we landed on VVL because the estimator actually walked through what was realistic for the space instead of just selling us a package. The design phase took maybe two weeks. They sent over a few tile and vanity options to consider and didn't push the most expensive ones. the master bath had a slow leak under the shower pan that had been bugging us for over a year. two plumbers patched it and it kept coming back. VVL pulled the whole thing out, redid the subfloor where it had gotten soft, and rebuilt the shower with new tile and a proper pan. no more leak, no more soft spot by the vanity. they were patient when we changed the tile pick halfway through too. solid bathroom redo overall
