Best bakery by far I, like many native GC residents, have been going to Villa since I was a kid. Years ago my Grandmother owned a small eatery known as Northwoods Pasties where she also sold Villa's pizza breads and slices. People would ask where she got them from and she would tell them, "only the best bakery around". She wasn't lying! Villa Bakery is simply the best around. Villa Bakery is a hometown classic. you can never go wrong with the villa bakery! I have been going there for 27 years, and my mom, and my grandma before that. ive moved all across the country, had family ship their stuff to me, and made special drives down there to get pizza bread! its the best ever! food network should do a special on them, they deserve the recognition...
pizza rolls I don't know if they are called pizza rolls or not but my daughter came home for a visit and wanted to get some, they were nothing like they use to be, I was disappointed in them, it was all bread very little filling and sauce inside. won't go there again...............its a shame they use to be really good.
Villa We often go there for pizza rolls on Saturdays & the kids love their canoles and cookies BUT we are never able to go there during the week because they close at 5 pm, we would love to pick up a pizza there for dinner during the week but cant make it before they close, also they aren't open Sundays which is also annoying.
WOW!!! Oh-my-gosh!! Villa Bakery is the BEST bakery ever! I hate living so far away from them. We moved away a few years ago and every single time we go back to town I must stop and buy pizza rolls. I even went as far as trying to re-create them because we love them so much (of course they never taste as good, lol). I also like that you can get them at local gas stations and party stores.. they aren't as fresh as you can get at the bakery obviously, but if you can't make it to the bakery, at least you can still get the Villa... read more
Best Pizza Rolls This bakery is great, I have been going here for over 5 years and they have the best pizza rolls anywhere around. The people are real nice and they always have pizza ready to take home for you to bake. Their deli section is real good and they have a nice itlalian wine selections. Overall the Best Italina Bakery in the area, no question about that.
Best Pizza Bread!! My son is in the army and on more than on occasion I have purchased pizza breads and mailed them to him! He just loves them so of course when he comes home on leave that is one of our first stops!!
Great bakery I love this bakery. I used to go here when I was in school to get a pizza bread for lunch , and am so happy that it is still going strong. The baked goods from this place are GREAT. Their prices are reasonable. I am a cater and I use them for a majority of buns and breads that I use.
Good food, but bad timing For my whole life I have had villa's pizza and pizza rolls. They are the best. People who come to visit from out of town always want to know if we can pick them up some pizza rolls.
