I bought a Toyota Camry from Allen Automotive. The car had real low mileage, but was a little older than some of the other cars I was looking at. Luckily, they inspect and service their vehicles before they sell them, so the Camry I looked was in great condition! Everything worked on it and it drove great! I would not recommend this dealership. The buying experience was just fine but after our purchase on the way home (15 minutes from the dealership), the check engine light came on. My husband took it to an auto parts store for the diagnostic and it indicated a bad catalytic converter. We called Patrick to advise him and he admitted they replaced the catalytic converter with an after market one. My husband and I spent $1300 putting the correct one on. Don't walk, run - fast. I bought a car from them just over a year ago. Within a week the a/c wouldn't work. Took it to a mechanic and it had all kinds of problems. Allen wouldn't take care of any of the problems. I ended up paying the repairs on my own. Now 1 year later. Car was rear ended and totaled. Insurance company won't pay out because they said I don't own the car (I wrote a check directly to Allen Auto for full amount). They said Allen Auto never sent in the title paperwork.
