Family owned and operated since 1969. Proudly servicing the Inland Northwest and surrounding areas for over 40 years. We pride ourselves with the specialty technicians that can work and improve the experience of all sewers and quilters in the Spokane community. All Viking Sew & Vac employees are fully insured and certified, we also offer warranties on all of our work. We also support our local community by sponsoring a co-ed softball team and a local ladies bowling team.

We came in looking to buy a sewing machine without knowing at all what we were getting into, Carrie gave us a bunch of knowledge and homework to get started in the hobby before making the plunge on a machine, supplied us with resource booklets and places in spokane to get sewing lessons from, all information that was free of charge. Where other people would prey on you to make some money if you didn’t know squat, we left with a trove of knowledge and an amazing shop to keep coming back to once we’ve started.
Support local businesses! This place helped me find a bobbin case in a under 2 minutes compared to the bigger corp stores.
Took serger to them, they fixed it for free. Since then I have taken several sewing machines and servers to them. Always great service, good price. Machines always worked better and very clean. Sometimes it takes awhile because of how busy they are. That shows how well they do. Rather wait a bit for great service than get a machine back that isn't fully serviced.
Great place to get a sewing machine. First used them for repairs to my sewing machine and 10 needle embroidery machine. Since then I’ve purchased machine from them. They are super honest, trustworthy and friendly. I recommend them to all my fellow sewers.
