Falling ruefully short of expectations for gender inclusion, staff friendliness, usable space, and safe sparring practices. If you’re coming from another gym just know the head coach liberally allows hazing dynamics to go on and will turn right around to then shame you for having an “ego” for simply showing up and putting in the work. Kale (owner) is one of my favorite humans.
