Well organized fishing trip with around 20 guests on our trip. The boat seemed to be in good shape (I’m no expert) but the best bit was the staff. They were the kindest and most helpful team we could have asked for. Always there with help when you needed and super encouraging to those passengers making their first fishing trip. Most of the family are saying this is the highlight of the holiday! We have even uncovered some surprise enthusiasts for fishing.
The boat is old , the seating on 1st level is dirty and claustrophobic. Its the only transportation from Montauk to Block Island so there not really an other choice. Also , they only have one time back on Sundays at 5pm , when check out is at 11am, one of my draw backs for going by ferry to Block Island

Great views of humpback whales, and so frequent. Never a dull moment. They don't overcrowd the boats so you can always position yourself to see whatever is going on. Knowledgeable and helpful staff. Definitely bring a sandwich if you don't have time to get breakfast beforehand, and wear a layer for the colder weather when you are out a distance.
