Listen, if you want a fence built next week, Viking is not going to be for you. Their one downside is they are very busy and so it takes a while to get scheduled, and the communications are pretty lightweight up to that point. That said, I have had them build both chain link and wood fences on separate occasions and once your time arrives, they do great work for a competitive price. Viking put our original fence in and after many years of great service, we needed it rebuilt after someone hit it with their car. They did amazing job with extremely polite crew members. The only critique I have is that we were originally told 4-12 weeks and it ended up being 14+ weeks. But, the quality of service provided offset the extra time it took. We would use them again in a heartbeat
I ordered a fence in April and was told it would be installed by June. I had an existing concrete fence and was very communicative that I didn’t want a large gap in between removal and installation, and that we had tenants I needed to keep informed. In June it was nearly impossible to get any answers on when this would actually be done. Finally they scheduled it a week after the concrete’s removal, then let me know the day before they didn’t have supplies so needed to reschedule. Worst company I ever delt with. Gave them a drawing, a materials list and I asked them to double check to makesure i had everything. Over a month later the order comes in. Then I get to the job. Missing gates! And they say that I didn't order or pay for gates and hardware! It will be another month to get gates! Almost got fired off the job. Fist time and last dealing with viking!
Communication is horrible. Voicemails everytime you call. Took weeks before I got any supplies from them. (Simple chain link fence) You have to call proactively to schedule deliveries because they will let it sit at there shop forever. Everything I’ve tried to order from them I’ve had to stop in multiple times or call multiple time because no one calls back when they say they will and it’s like they don’t want your business if they aren’t doing the install.
