My first meeting with Dr. Dewan proved to me why I never trusted psychology and saw it only as a guessing game. As a psychiatrist he wanted to change two simple medications that my PCP could have prescribed but as most of the US healthcare ststem is corrupt, so is my PCP, but more ashamedly so is the "specialist" Dr. Dewan. I have been seeing Dr. Dewan for over three years for my mental health. He is amazing! He does everything by the book and ensures your medication works how you need it! He always submits refills on the day of the request and works hard to help me stay within my budget. He is a lovely person who genuinely wants to help his patients!
Didn’t listen to me requesting for a med change. Son still depressed. Dr had me make an appointment with the impression of adding a med to make son more aware or attentive. He refused and I felt my voice wasn’t heard.
I saw Dr, Vijay k dewan and he's not at all competent or anywhere near a good or decent psychiatrist. I've severe skitzoeffective disorder with other serious and damaging conditions with severe divisions and I suffered immensely bc of Dr dewan. He took me off my most powerful meds and I went into a severe psychosis and was extremely ill!!! I had to move in with my family as I couldn't function and was going psychotic and my mental health deteriorated under his lack of care and attention.
