Unfortunately my family's experience was not positive. We were so fortunate to have their foundation help the cost of stay due to her low income status. However, this in no way compensated for her experience staying there. My mom is a social person that thrives on interaction. There are ZERO activities offered. We had to place our aunt into a care facility. My husband and I spent several days trying to locate the perfect setting for her. We visited several and were not impressed. The moment we stepped foot into Viewmont Villa, Napa Ca, we knew this was the home for our aunt and where she would be happy. To start, the home is in a beautiful setting. Viewmont Villa is a beautiful property in the Napa Valley. It was a difficult decision to put my mom in someone else’s care but so glad that I did. The food is great and meals are served in a beautiful dining room where they eat together like a family. They really cater to each individual resident even giving my mom a party for her 96th birthday. Cake, presents and lots of love. Most of all, they take really good care of her.
