We stayed in this hotel last summer in August when it was 85+ degrees outside. I paid for a room with a view, and got a view of the pool and hillside. The AC in our room didn't work, so the first night there, I went and spoke with the front desk (around 2am). They told me that there was nothing that they could do on their end that night and gave me a box fan. BE WARNED - I’m extremely disappointed with how Marriott handled my recent reservation at the Viewline Resort Snowmass. I booked my stay well in advance, and at no point was I clearly notified that the hotel would be closed. In fact, I didn’t find out until I physically arrived at the property to check in—only to be told it was closed and that an email had supposedly been sent weeks prior. I received no such email. Be warned - This resort is not Autograph Collection quality. This is more like a motel with a good location on the mountain. During our time there, the elevators were out of service, the carpets outside our room had an intense smell of vomit, then bleach, then vomit again. The restaurant had extremely slow service and a dirty buffet. The double queen room was tiny. The thermostat worked intermittently, and we had to open the window to control the temperature in the room. The spa is very basic, no amenities, not at all luxuri... read more
