IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR CHILD DO NOT SEND THEM HERE! I went here almost 6 years ago now and reviews are showing me nothing is different. You get 30 minutes of “activities” once a day, which is playing in a gated basketball court and sidewalk literally nothing else, the only good food is the chicken sandwich. When I got there they made me strip and take a shower, then proceeded to take the clothes I came in with and put them in the donation closet instead of give them back to me. Honestly not bad I came here for a week and other than the small bullying the other kids would do it wasn’t that bad of a experience, food was amazing and staff was supportive and nice, Mr gazi and ms Kay are my favorite and honestly compared to other facilities I highly recommend this.
I was here for 2 weeks , I honestly love it sm. , everyone had a sweet soul there 🥹, staff was the best also the food I love it even tho I didn’t eat that type of food also the beds were so thin it was cold at night
Some day staff were amazing, others were less than pleasant. I felt like my issues weren't being focused on and that no one cared. One of the clinicians was extremely rude and talked way too much during group time. When I cried about missing home, all they told me was I shouldn't have done what I had done to get in there. No sympathy at all. Don't ever send your loved ones there.
i was here for a week and my experience here was ok. some kids would bully the autistic kids and the staff would do nothing about it even though they did it right in front of their faces. the schedule was valid and they feed you a ton. the food is really good. when i was crying and hyperventilating one staff member pulled me and helped me through it. it is a mental hospital so i didn’t expect to enjoy it but it was better than i expected. the only thing i complain about is the bullying being allowed.
