The Khao Soi was very sweet however the noodles were al dente and I like the compliments that came with the dish. The salad was en explosion of flavors. Despite we requested mild, both dishes were on the spicer side. I would come again and hopefully they will improve on the sauce for the Khao soi. It's not supposed to be a sweet dish. I spent two weeks in Chang Mai and ate Khaosoi daily for breakfast. Service was excellent!
Viethai was wonderful. The wok fried cashew noodles had an incredible sauce, filled with smoky and sweet depth that I literally couldn't stop eating. I was so impressed with the flavor, I will definitely be returning to try more!
Stopped by for a late lunch. Food was delicious and hit the spot. Our Thai benchmark, chicken hot basil, was good. Definitely worth a stop
Honestly, I'm pretty picky, but I have to ask.... is the fried rice actually this sweet? It’s the same story with the pineapple fried rice, too!!. I really built my expectations so much for THAI FOOD thinking it would be an improvement over last time, but man, I guess I was wrong for the second time in a row. At least the spring rolls were good and the service is solid, so there's that.
We just got back from a lovely trip to Thailand, and my family developed an out of the blue, sophisticated appreciation for all things Thai soup. The beef noodles here are definitely... an attempt, and they certainly try to blend with the broth. The staff is incredibly friendly, bless them.
