Saw Dr Pradahn. He is very efficient with his time. Probably 2 minutes. I guess if he had bothered to get me to take off my shirt to look any skin cancers, it may have been a 5 minute consult. Later I was found to have BCC on my back which fortunately he missed as who knows what he would have done to it. I must have been the last patient for the day, as he beat me down the stairs to get in his car to go home. Could have waited a couple of minutes, just looks more professional. Got most of the $250+ back from Medicare for the... read more
I’m new to the area and needed my six monthly skin check at short notice. This was my third skin check in the last year after a recent excision. This was not like my other skin checks. Do not recommend. I’m reminded why I only usually visit female clinicians. John Caska is a disgrace to the profession.
I cannot understand how Dr Prahan, is still working here. DR Caska, saved my life 12 years ago, finding an aggressive melanoma on my arm, went and saw Dr Prahan last year, and was so unimpressed, i have a thick folder of my history, that he had in front of him, and he still asked why was i there. Seriously, now i have nowhere to go that covers procedures with bulk billing, as on a concession, and unaffordable to a melonoma survivor, very unfair to have someone with obviously no care or empathy at this clinic.
I wish I read the reviews before going to this clinic Dr Pradhan couldn’t care less about skin checks and his patients I’ve had many skin checks and they are usually done professionally behind a curtain and on a bed with a magnifier and light But he said his equipment was out on his desk and to undress in the chair I felt very uncomfortable so I undressed behind the curtain for my own dignity. He checked one freckle that I mentioned was a concern and said I can freeze it off I said well no if it isn’t cancerous I rather not,... read more
Very similar experience to the other reviewers at this one star level. 5 mins tops in the clinic, which is not an issue in itself but very brief when his exam only took 1 or those minutes. He looked at a mole I have had for my whole life (45yrs) and I told him 'that has been there since birth' and he said 'no, it is new for sure' and used the cryo to freeze it. He then looked at one or two others and froze a couple with a milisecond puff of cryo that will not do a thing. Something is honestly not right here.
