Being in a harm reduction house it is out of control. If the suspect a client, they will work with you. 2 weeks automatic no access restriction. 30-day restricted access to do some stuff but able to go to meetings and appointments. Every client will get a chore once a week. The RS on shift is pretty good and nice. The negatives are seeing drug deals all day down the street, people asking for cigarettes that walk by all day, and there is no drug testing whatsoever. Clients fighting over petty stuff is embarrassing.
For a harm reduction house, it has its ups and downs. It's all about you and your recovery though. Everyone has the potential of being in a great point of their life here. 3 to 6 month program. Clients have 1 chore a week designated to do. Dinner is the only meal provided. We are told to be self sufficient for breakfast and lunch. Staff doesn't watch residents. They still get high and drunk. Near liquor stores and access to drugs. I would never suggest this place
