A very long and drawn out story short --- Mechanics misplaced a piece when they did the oil change. Engine lights came on and they said everything was fine, we continued to drive the car and lights kept going on and off. Brought the car back, they inspected it again and said everything was fine. After lights continued to go off, we brought it to the dealership who informed us of the missing pieces.
