Victory Centre is going through a transition from taking over Alexian Village. My personal experience has to do with the incredible nursing staff and caregivers. Rachel, D.O.N., Rowena, Leslie, Erna, and Michele took unbelievable care of my mom, especially when she needed it the most. They made her feel safe and loved. I also want to give a shout-out to Helen in the reception area. She was always there to help coordinate any of my needs for my mom and was very pleasant to work with. One of my parents had been at this facility when it was Alexian Village (owned by Pathways). After the sale to Grand Lifestyles the the quality of everything that matters fell. Dinners that were once balanced meals became hot dogs, chicken fingers, sandwiches or nachos with soup. Carpets filthy and stained, the dining room floors and tables sticky, lobby furniture dirty and shabby.
