We paid the deposit after being explicitly told it followed the same rules as buying a car or a house — including a cooling-off period. Careful what you wish for people. Went to the caravan show in Geelong. Dropped over to Victory Carvans. Their sales agent sold us on the basis the contract is like purchasing a car, complelty false. No one talked us through the terms and conditions, paid the deopisted. Found out they don't offer a cooling off period. Search reveal ACC say the business should make you aware of the terms and conditions which they didn't. So we have lost Pur deposit and they haven't got back to any of our emails. Had our 20'6 van since June 2023 and had many issues and still ongoing issues. Look these arnt major issues but enough to make you wonder was it worth buying. We have had issues with decals peeling on corners, bench top replaced twice cause it was installed wrong, light around Hatch doesn't work (still doesn't even after we were told it was fixed), light switch fused on, replaced 2 x batteries after 12 months, fuse blown for fridge, melted and burnt electrical cable, scortched wooden frame, no internal or external lights, to... read more
