I stayed in the PIRATE ROOM at the Victorian Mansion 20 years ago and LOVED it so much yet only just made it back recently— and it did NOT disappoint! This time around I stayed in the GYPSY ROOM and it was amazing! As the photos show the room has a rustic forest themed decor with stone features around a VERY deep soaking tub, the most amazing wall murals you’ve ever seen (and I’m an artist!), with a bed that is inside a caravan. My husband has been a lifelong Tolkien fan, saying for decades that he wants to live in a hobbit hole. So when I found out that the Victorian Mansion B&B had one, we had to go immediately. Our stay was absolutely delightful. The room was lovely and had so many fun little touches. The staff was amiable, enthusiastic, and helpful. We got to enjoy warm coffee, a tasty breakfast, and a light, cool breeze in the gazebo. We will certainly be returning to try out the other suites. This place offers a truly unique stay, with its themed rooms providing an immersive experience. The Pirate Room, while wonderfully detailed, featured a comfortable but quite tiny bed. A highlight of the stay was the Japanese tub, and the filling breakfast was a definite plus. Guests should note there is no elevator, which could be a consideration for some.

This place was awesome. Rooms were super cool. Breakfast was classy and delicious. It is right near a bunch of wine and great food. We will definitely be returning.
