After arriving by ambulance i was left on a trolley for 19 hours with zero medical attention i had to stagger to the toilet to get a drink of water when i complained i was given the number to lifeline typical of Monash Health they say that they dont have a" do not treat list " as far as im concerned im on that list rude and arrogant judgemental doctors who think they are God and have the right to decide who gets treatment and who doesn't thank God for the Cardiac unit at the Alfred hospital where the care was world class
I was an inpatient over the last week at this wonderful hospital. They saved my life several times with cardio version and I was then treated in the ward by a team of excellent, competent and caring nurses. My thanks also to the doctors especially Emily who looked after me while I was there. I can heartily recommend this hospital for any aspect of cardiac care to anyone who needs this kind of care. The food was also excellent, varied and had a big range of options.
I cannot speak highly enough of the care I received at the Heart Hospital. I arrived feeling extremely worried and anxious after experiencing chest pain, but from the moment I arrived, I felt reassured and well cared for. Every staff member I encountered was kind, compassionate and professional. They took the time to listen, explain what was happening and made me feel comfortable throughout my visit.
