Fortunately I am not registered at this GP,but unfortunately my Mother is. I cannot comment on the GPs themselves, but I can comment on a receptionist. A more abrupt, rude and intrusive person would be hard to find! I assume that Ms Tones must have particularly low standards / criteria for the employment of receptionists. Therefore, I'm quite concerned about the standards of the GPs she employs. After being told that a referral had been sent to Sunderland eye hospital regarding a severe twitch in side of face. After 2 weeks had passed with no contact from hospital decided to take matters into my own hands. Rang hospital to see if they had received a referral to be told yes but wont be seen until end of may. (It’s now January) and first referral sent (December) and that’s after waiting over a week to see doctor. The worst gp possible.My 1-year-old daughter was diagnosed with epilepsy and has monthly treatment.Every time I send a prescription for medicine, something must be wrong.The doctor forgets to sign it, sends the wrong prescription, doesn't exist in the pharmacy's stock, and so on.I send the prescription by email, so there is no excuse as long as you can check exactly what I send and what I receive.I tried to send a prescription a week or two before and it was not accepted because I still have the medicine, which is ridiculous... read more
