Dr. Powis refused to see me after I went to another doctor to get a 2nd opinion and wanted to continue seeing Dr. Powis. The office said that because I said I had a bad experience giving birth at doctors hospital and they feel it's a conflict of interest to see me again. I'm not the only person who has had issues giving birth at Doctors hospital. Absolutely floored that a doctor would refuse to see her patient who is seeking care.
Dr Powis is great! She really listens to the patient and recommends the least invasive treatment possible. She goes out of her way to know her patients and is very caring.
Dr.Powis was with me for my pregnancy and delivery, I can't say enough good things. She always took time to answer my questions and talk me through things. I'm so glad she was there for my delivery, having her there made the whole process less stressful and in my opinion it went pretty fast. It is really refreshing not to be treated like a number, she is a great doctor.
Did not like Dr. Powis as she wasn't very caring and immediately wanted to rush into 3 surgical procedures. I received 3 different answers to my questions between her nurse, her scheduling person and the doctor herself. Would not recommend!
She has canceled three times on myself and my daughter for future appointments because she has multiple times made future plans and we paid the price. I already waited nine months and haven’t seen her yet. My daughter had to wait about six months these wait times are including the cancellations.
