This place is a nightmare. I overheard people who work there talking, and heard about how some higher up performed CPR on a DNR client, and I also heard about how recently, an almost 104 year old resident died, and this facility reported that he had died peacefully in his sleep in his bed.... when he actually died face down on the toilet with his wheelchair on top of him, and he had been there for at least 8 hours.. the night crew didn't check on him, and he died in pain, and his death was preventable. The staff at Victoria Place truly cared about my friend who was a very challenging resident. The premises are clean and attractive. I witnessed a number of nice touches, such as holiday decorations, good-quality live musicians playing in the lobby, and weekly visits by friendly dogs. The staff do their utmost and come to work with a smile.
