I was scheduled to have the “scarless” thyroidectomy with Dr. Banuchi for removal of my thyroid and a thyroglossal duct cyst. She did not warn me of any of the additional complications from the “scarless” procedure in comparison to the traditional neck approach. I had a few appointments with her and I was on the calendar for surgery with her. Dr Banuchi is an excellent ENT. She did follow up work for my husband who was diagnosed with lung cancer. She assured us it did not spread to throat, lymph nodes etc. ordered tests to confirm. She is professional and caring. We feel lucky to have found her.
