Dr. Stams and the plastic surgery team at Carle are absolutely incredible. I waited 10 years to have this surgery, and Dr. Stams made the entire experience worth the wait. He’s one of the kindest, most patient doctors I’ve ever met — he takes the time to answer every question (even when anxiety makes you ask twice) and truly cares about his patients. Had top surgery on 10/15 and no words can explain how great of an experience I have had. Stams and the staff are absolutely amazing. They make time for you everytime I have had to call or message in the portal they respond. Stams is very upfront he doesn’t try to upsell he gives you options but he doesn’t try to lead you one way or another. I wish he could be my primary care doctor.
