Wife has a fistula of the bladder that formed a few days after a hysterectomy. Dr. Andres’s prescribed a catheter after she was hospitalized after diagnosing the fistula at Houston Healthcare (now Emory Healthcare) a few days afrerward she showed signs of a uti (otc test was positive) and called the doctor. She was told if she wasn’t running a temp then she couldn’t have a uti and that a catch would cause a positive result, and that the pain she was in was normal.
