Nursery Nook = Scam Not sure what is going on with Lori. We ordered 5 pieces for our daughter's bedroom in April of 2010. She required us to pay a deposit which is understandable, but that means you should get your items. We received 2 of the 5 in September, but are still waiting on 3 more. Criminal fraud by Nursery Nook? Along with being screwed out of $881.39 myself, I've heard about other people that have also been potentially targeted by this business, and Lori Stevens. Stay Away!!! Dealing with Nursery Nook has been nothing short of a total nightmare. I ordered my nursery furniture 9 months ago, and I am still missing 1 piece. Thanks to their inability to deliver on time, my baby is now 4 months old, and his nursery is still incomplete. Interestingly, I was able to order the missing item from another retailer in Indiana and get it in only 2 weeks. Stay away from Nursery Nook! Stear Clear Terrible experience. Owner is nuts. Paid for my furniture in full and still never received it several months later when it was supposed to be delivered in 6 weeks. I heared every excuse in the book. Refund was promised and never came... I really hope people will stay away from this business for their benefit.
great place The owner is so nice. She even looked on-line for price comparison.The highest quality furniture for the price. As far as the store, it's not one that you would find on Michigan Ave. The store is messy but for the money I saved, I wouldn't care if they had dirt floors. I must say that the first review said how SCARY it was to see a picture of " dubya"? I didn't know it was "scary" to show respect to the president of the united states.
This place gave me and my unborn baby the creeps The furniture was excellent quality....if you can look past the ambiance.....It was dirty, disorganized and haphazard. The entrance was a wooden plank, my mom found a mound of crushed potato chips and pile of bills under some diaper bags thrown in a corner and the most frightening of all was the 8X10 picture of "Dubya" with an American flag jammed behind the frame. My husband and I politely excused ourselves from the premises.
For the perfect nursery When I was decorating my new daughters nursery I wasnt satisfied with the bedding that I found at the usual stores. The Nursery Nook had a wide selection of items not found anywhere else in the area. They carry a wide selection of expensive, unique baby items and furniture and also moderatly priced name brand items. THe staff is helpful and friendly and take great care of you. Decorating your babies new room is important and this is a great place to do it right!
I love this store! I love this store. It's the best place to go for all your baby furniture. They offer a huge selection of name brand furniture and bedding. I bought my first son's crib from here and still have it 9 years later! They offer hard to find items, bedding, and more. The store carries alot of high end, hard to find items.
